Owner/Trainer - Tate Tobkin

  Tate graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Performance and Fitness. He competed in the javelin for the Bison and was a three time All-American. He started personal training in the fall of 2001 and became partner/owner of Fitness Revolution in June of 2008. He enjoys working with all levels of clients and believes in well-balanced exercise routines that focus on proper posture and corrective exercise movements.     


Owner/Trainer - Mike Frey

  Mike graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. He has been training on the North Shore for the last 15 years. Mike likes to give his clients an array of exercises, while pushing them through circuit training at a high pace. Mike continues to play soccer and enjoys golfing. He has ran the Chicago Marathon four times and has run many other races. 


Sports Performance Training Director - Dave Slykhuis

 Dave graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's Degree in  Kinesiology & Health. He has over 10 years of experience training athletes of all ages and levels. Dave enjoys weight lifting, golfing, snowboarding, and being outdoors.  


Trainer - Tony Robinson

 Tony is the most tenured trainer at Fitness Revolution. With over 23 years of training experience, Tony brings a variety of knowledge and expertise to the training table. He started his life in the fitness sector as an amateur power lifter and body builder and transitioned to personal  training in 1996. It is estimated that Tony has logged over 40,000 hours of personal training.   


Trainer - Matt Conversa

 Matt is the owner of Firehouse Strength & Fitness. He currently is  employed full time with Elmwood Park Fire Department. He works part-time at Fitness Revolution as a Personal Trainer. Matt has a Bachelor's  Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois. He is certified in NASM, ACE, & FMS.


Trainer/Pilates Instructor - Kasia Brzychcy

Kasia is a certified power Pilates instructor and personal trainer. She is passionate about Pilates and fitness and wants to share that love with others who aspire to become a better and stronger version of themselves. 


Physical Therapist - Marcin Stygar

Marcin graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science with a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His experience includes Physical Therapist for ATI Physical Therapy as well as managing and directing physical therapy departments around the nation. Marcin believes manual therapy and education are the most important factors needed for a speedy recovery, and he utilizes both to help patients achieve optimal results.
